The concreting of the hall floor is currently underway and landscaping is being completed. After the technological break, which will be until the end of September, follows the assembly of internal partitions and linings. Then the technological equipment of the hall will be assembled.

Preparatory works for the construction of a the new polygraphic hall in the area of GZ Media a.s. were launched in March 2019. The construction of the hall will commence in April 2020. Construction of the new hall will create a modern production space for polygraphic machines. New hall is designed as one visual and spatial unit – monoblock and it will be directly connected to the existing production buildings and adjacent roads. The color of the facade will be a light beige with beige plinth. A covered and elevated crossing will be built between the existing production hall and the new printing hall. This enables the gluing section in the main production hall and the new printing building to be connected even during bad weather conditions. There will will be placed a separating fire rated textile blind in the connecting corridor to the other existing hall. The building is divided into two fire sections due to the fire safety requirements.

The foundation of the building is designed as drilled reinforced concrete piles. The new building with a total usable area of 2.814 m2 is designed as a one storey, two-bay hall with three in-built structures. The main bearing supporting frame structure is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete columns and trusses. All in-built structures are creatd from prefabricated reinforced concrete elements. Lightweight cladding is made of metal-plastic, consisting of horizontally laid sandwich insulating panels with polyester surface treatment and filled with a mineral wool. Entire ground floor of the new hall will receive the industrial fibre-concrete floor. The subbase of the floor slab will be remediated using embossed sand-gravel pillars and other structural layers to achieve demanding parameters for the installation of printing machines. The roof layer is composed of load bearing trapezoidal steel sheets, thermal insulation and a covering waterproofing PVC foil. Arc shaped skylights designed and located in accordance with the study of daylighting will be installed on the roof of the hall and there will be also made a fall arrest system.

Spatial ventilation of the polygraphic hall will be provided by several ventilation units, which will be installed on technical platforms built into the interior of the hall. The heat source will be provided by heat recovery from the cooling of the production technology and also by existing heat transfer station. The source of cold will be a water-cooled chiller, which will be connected to a dry cooler with the possibility of sprinkling.

The architectural design of the exterior will be completed with new grassed areas and landscaping.

The completion of the construction is planned for 02/2021.
